While at On-Purpos, I also presented on design + technology issues at Iowa State University, and served on the City of Ankeny, Iowa Technology Commitee.

Senior Art Director (2009–2011)

Worked directly with clients on print, identity, packaging, environmental, motion, and interactive projects. Managed teams working on the design and development of several high-profile online projects. Helped develop the Measure brand and build an online presence for the company.

More than six years of experience designing and developing for the web, individually and as part of a team. Includes sites for university schools, publications, government, e-commerce, and individuals.

Print

Proficient in all areas of print design and production, and over a decade of experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Interactive

Advanced skill in designing for and developing with web standards, including HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript. Experienced with Adobe Flash, Actionscript, PHP, mySQL, jQuery, Processing, Arduino, and more. Practiced in a range of prototyping and user-centered design methods, including wireframing, rapid prototyping, and usability testing.

3D Visualization

Years of experience in 3D design and animation, including integration into print, interactive, and motion graphics projects. Preferred tools include Google SketchUp and Luxology Modo.

Motion Graphics

Experience creating animated sequences using Adobe After Effects and Flash.
